This workshop will look at the purpose, challenges, structures and language that inform the writing of a thesis literature review.

This session provides you with a sound understanding of the form and the function of a literature review. It looks at what makes a literature review effective and how to go about writing one. The session also provides some hints about what examiners are looking for.

After this session, you will have a much better grasp of your literature review. You will know what a literature review is and what it is not, how it functions in your thesis and how to go about producing one.
